I was only there briefly, but I had a decent breakfast. I found the atmosphere to be nice as well with it's hipster/environmental vibe having been executed well. The staff was great and very welcoming too.

First & foremost you can walk in off the street to eat @ this hotels restaurant. You WON'T be sorry that you did. It's beautiful inside & the staff is courteous! The food is SO good & healthy for you (organic), & honestly you'd pay much more for these same dishes in...New York (for example)! I've eaten here many times & have never been disappointed!
I love stopping in here for a drink and a bite to eat. The service is fantastic. The staff is really nice, the facility is clean and modern. The food is top notch. I highly recommend it.
The hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spacious and the water went from hot to cold in a snap. The temperature controls take some time to take effect (1 hour for every degree) and require changing the fan speed but it was already perfectly set. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a contemporary hotel near Oberlin.
We had a family event at the Hotel at Oberlin and I was very impressed with everything from the atmosphere, the food, and the staff. This hotel was completely rebuilt from the ground up several years ago and they have done a great job of creating a modern, open, and natural light filled atmosphere. The second level offers great views of the park and historic downtown Oberlin. The food served buffet style at our event was excellent, my only regret being that I forgot to ask what brand of coffee they used, I want to get myself some of that. The restaurant on the main floor serves Ohio centric food and the bar offers a great selection of Ohio made beers. Being from Columbus I was excited to see that the house Gin and Vodka were from Columbus' own Watershed Distillery, truely top notch. The employees were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartender was a wealth of knowledge of both local and national craft beers. He took time to make recommendations and share information about not only what was on tsp, but also the mission of the restaurant and hotel. I'll definitely be returning to the Hotel at Oberlin again, next time though I'm going to show up a day early so I can spend the night, and more time, here.
