Lorenzo's is the best pizza place I have ever been to. The people are always so friendly, the environment is great and the pizza is to die for! My own grandparents have been going there for 30 years.
We moved to Oberlin (New Russia) in December 2016 and heard that Lorenzo’s was the bomb in itialian food. We ordered quite frequently From them at least once a month so 10 times in the last year. In that year span their customer service has really sucked. They have messed up our order three times. The last time they messed up was for my birthday the pizza took over an hour and a half and my wife had to pick it up. They promised a free pizza and when we went to order it today they have no record and they had no record of our address. This is unacceptable and she told them we are not going to take our business back there again. I hope Lorenzo read this Review and realizes that maybe he is overextending himself or he has the wrong person managing his restaurant.
As close to my Italian mother's spaghetti as you can get. I have never had a bad experience, in fact they have all been excellent. I almost don't want to share, so I can keep it to myself but they deserve all the attention they get. This place has become an almost weekly stop for us. Yes it's that good.
The food was great. However, the manager David that was working was very unprofessional. At first, he came over to ask how things were going and it was okay. My brother and I were catching up from not seeing each other in some time. There were only 2 other tables occupied and we were conversating with our waitress when David returned while drinking and talking to us. He returned a few minutes later to tell the waitress that she needed to clock out (while waiting on us) and continued to have an argument with her on the dining floor. He handled it very poorly and was noticeably drinking heavy while on the clock. We used to frequent Lorenzo's and enjoyed it. As long as this is the type of service, my family and I will not be returning.
The pizza was okay. But we waited almost 90 minutes after ordering to get our pizza. They gave us bread sticks and the waitress said sorry but we were very neglected and we didn't come in until after 1pm thinking it would be fast. The waitress asked us two different times if we wanted the check and we told her yes both times before waiting a while longer for her to finally bring the check. We sat at our table a total of 2 hours. I am not hostile or trying to be mean about it, just honest. I probably won't return
